About Josie

Ever since i can remember I knew that I wanted to participate and win a gold medal in an Olympic games. From a very young age i was extremely competitive in all different sports, athletics, swimming, triathlons, hockey, soccer, to name a few, before i found the one i finally settled for – cycling.
At my first national championships as a 14 year old i won my first national title and i never looked back since, going on to win australian titles, world titles and breaking a world record in the junior ranks and then progressing into seniors to win my first senior world title in 2009 in the omnium and then my second senior world title in 2010 in the teams pursuit.
With both the omnium and the teams pursuit in the olympic games track cycling program, i am looking forward to a big 2012 where i hope to turn my childhood dream into a reality.
